Tot School Halloween Party

Today was our Halloween party and the kids looked so cute in their costumes!

"I found it!"

 We played “Find Your Pumpkin” for name recognition and the kids were so excited about the pumpkin hunt that they just grabbed the first pumpkin they came upon without even looking at the names. We had fun hiding them again and finding them.

I was curious about what the girls were staring at as they sat in the wagon.  Apparently they found an earthworm during their pumpkin hunt!

Our arts and craft activities today were an egg carton spider, paper plate pumpkin mask, and paper bag scarecrow.

We sang the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” song, “Ten Little Scarecrows”, and listened to a CD of silly songs.

For snack we enjoyed apple cider, pumpkin muffins, and mummy dogs.

Our stories today were "Halloween Day",  "Harriet's Halloween Candy", and "10 Trick or Treaters: A Halloween Counting Book".
