Today the kids built towers with Lego blocks. They did a great job sharing and both earned stickers as a reward. They built a tower together then decided to each work on their own masterpieces.
Then they decided to have a dance party with their bears. Don't they look adorable cuddled up in the chair?
For snack we had purple pudding, grape jello, purple grapes, grape jelly on toast, purple eggs, and grape juice to go with our color theme. For our table time they painted six purple eggs and we learned about position/place by putting the eggs in, on, under, and above the basket. We colored a page with letter E words and practiced drawing lines to trace the letter E. Our books today were “Harold and the Purple Crayon”, “Purplicious”,“Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse”, and “Six Sleepy Sheep”. The kids enjoyed rolling some fun shapes out of purple playdough.
We went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and they painted the wall with water, played with the sand table, mower, rocking horse and slide.
